NetMcr is a monthly meet-up for Network Engineers, NOC personnel, Networking students, and anyone else with an interest in the Networker community. To that end, we enforce a Respect Policy, that all potential attendees should read before attending.
We meet (virtually) on the 2nd Thursday of each month, in the upstairs room at 57 Thomas Street in a Zoom bridge, provided gratis by a kind member of our community. Events begin at 7:30pm, with the formal agenda finishing at or before 9:30pm. If possible, we will remain on the bridge for some further open discussion on the talks, general industry chit-chat, until ca. 11:00pm.
The evening takes the form of some socialising, and we also aim to put on some talks. The event is not a sponsored one, and potential attendees are encouraged to attend in a personal capacity.
To read more about NetMcr’s origins, please see the About page. If you’d like to keep up to date with the most up-to-date ongoings, please do subscribe to our announcements mailing list (form to the right) in order to receive the event joining details. You may also follow our announcements via @net_mcr on Twitter, but we will no longer divulge the conference call details via Twitter.
Should you have any further queries, please email them to ‘hello -at – netmcr.uk’.
If you happen to be under 16 when attending a virtual NetMcr event, you are very welcome, but please do ensure that you contact us before attending, and in good time for us to ensure that there is no presented content that is unsuitable for those of a school age.
